A special highlight in this partnership : GTB has specifically chosen the separatus system acquired what is probably the world's smallest geothermal drilling rig. This allows geothermal probes to be installed efficiently and cost-effectively in confined spaces – ideal for inner-city properties or renovation projects.
At this year's WOHGA trade fair in Winterthur, we were privileged to present the separatus system at the GTB booth. During the four days of the trade fair, we were able to inspire numerous visitors about energy generation from geothermal energy. Interest in the separatus system combined with GTB's smallest drilling rig was particularly high, especially among people from Winterthur – partly due to the impending gas supply shutdown, and partly due to the limited space available on many properties.
Particularly convincing: Thanks to the compact drilling rig, many buildings can now be accessed for geothermal drilling without the use of expensive lifting cranes – a real step forward in the practical implementation of geothermal systems.
