We've waited a long time for this, and now it's finally here. Switzerland's first separateus geothermal probe has become a reality. It now supplies climate-friendly energy directly from the ground to a holiday home with panoramic views of the Graubünden mountains, and will continue to do so for generations to come.
The geological conditions were challenging and typical for the Alpine region: a moist gravel layer was followed by hard slate with quartz inclusions.
A 100-meter-long separatus splitpipe probe is used, which was easy to install thanks to its slim design.
