separatus with 90 mm bore implemented in Brussels

Geothermal energy with separatus in Brussels. With a bore diameter of just 90 mm, a separatus probe was efficiently installed in a narrow urban district. This compact solution demonstrates how geothermal energy is possible even in confined spaces.

separatus enables geothermal energy in urban areas

We had the opportunity to accompany our drilling partner BruDrill on-site at a current separatus installation in Brussels. The visit was extremely informative and impressively demonstrated how precise and safe work can be achieved with a drill diameter of just 90 millimeters.

The project was located in a densely built-up urban area with very limited space. Such conditions require experience and the utmost care – this is precisely where the strengths of BruDrill in combination with the separatus system come into play. Every single step, from positioning the rig to separating the drilling debris, was perfectly thought out and implemented. This made it possible to drill quickly and cleanly, even in Brussels' sandy clay soil, and to install the geothermal probe without any problems.

A strong separatus community gathered on site to witness the installation. The verdict was unanimous: the quality and professionalism of the BruDrill team impressed everyone.

Thank you for your hospitality. We look forward to our next visit.
